Both of them needed scholarships to attend college, and they got them. Both of them believe that growing up watching their mothers struggle to make ends meet and play all roles is part of what makes them successful. Their work ethic, commitment to quality, and belief in equality have helped them build a diverse team that delivers honest solutions that work, and that stand the test of time.
During the pandemic, Shanese and Darin helped with things like groceries for single-mother households, and continue to donate to foundations that support these families. In addition, to help ease the struggle of others who face similar circumstances, the company provides scholarships for children of single mothers and donates to charities that support these families.
Shanese and Darin are active in their church fellowship, and also want to help the homeless epidemic in Southern California, and will often visit encampments to provide things like socks and toiletries to the unhoused.
